Day 15 : Halfway Point

Today I worked out with my trainer and ran two miles.

Miles today = 2
Total Miles = 25

Check Point:
 I am getting faster! Today, I ran about 2 mins faster than my last checkpoint (Day 8) and  4 mins faster  since my first run test.
Day 1

Push up test today = 27  (10 more than last check point )

Inches lost 6.5
Weight Lost = 4 lbs

Day 14

Worked out with my trainer this morning and ran 2 miles on the treadmill

Miles today = 2
Total Miles = 23

Tomorrow is my next check in and the halfway point of this project.

Day 13

Almost forgot to blog today.....so tired.
I did not want to workout today but I forced myself to do it.
I did two videos from the fitness section of Comcast on demand and followed it up with the a some basic  core exercises. I have to go to sleep now because I have a session with my trainer in the morning...early : /

Day 12

Today I pick the "Have a friend select the workout card" so my friend Desi made my do an Insanity (dvd workout series) workout. It was harsh.

I also ran a mile on the treadmill.

Day 11

Today I pick the "Medicine Ball" card so I did a series of exercises that incorporate the medicine ball.
I also did cardio for 45 mins

Day 10

Today:
 I worked out with my trainer
Then I picked the "Do a workout video" card, so I did two Brazilian Butt Lift workouts
I also ran a mile on the treadmill.


Miles today = 1
Today Miles = 17.75

In other news: A nine-year-old girl dared me to do a cartwheel and I did it..... Perfectly!
I was surprised I could still do one, but I guess I still got it.

Day 9

Thanksgiving!
Today, I only did a mini workout that consisted of push-ups, sit-ups, and a wall sit.
I did not run today but I plan to run twice as long tomorrow plus I have a session with my trainer at 4:30pm.

In other (fantastic) news!  The pants I bought 2 sizes smaller than my current size arrived yesterday. I tried them on today and they already fit!!!!!! so now I am trying for the next size smaller.

Day 8 : Check Point

Today I worked out with my trainer and ran a mile

After just one week of cardio training. I can now run a mile 2 mins faster than last week.


Updated Stats:

Mile time (14.35 mins)
puch-ups in 30 secs (17)

I have not lost any weight or inches

Total miles = 16.75

Day 7

I have worked out every day for one week! YAY!

Today, I did a session with my trainer and did an hour of cardio miles = 3.5
Total Miles = 15.75

Tomorrow I will take measurements / weight /mile run time and push up count

Day 6

Today I pick the "Arm Strength Training" card. I did a 30 min arm circuit on various machines.
Then I did 45 mins on the elliptical. I selected the random hill program and Level 2 (Yesterday I did Level 1) Miles =2.5

Total distance = 12.25 miles

Tomorrow, I have a session with my trainer so I will not pick a card, I will just complete the session and add some cardio.

In other news, my pants are fitting looser and I can make it through a cardio session a little easier.
I will have updated stats to share on Wednesday.

Day 2

Today I pick the "Hour of Cardio" card . So I ran on the treadmill for an hour while I watched an episode of Melrose Place, not the new one the original one.

Miles today = 2.5
Total Miles = 3.5

In other news, I bought two pairs of pants today. The first pair fit me exactly the second pair are 2 sizes smaller. I am hoping to wear the smaller pair (comfortably) on the day I present my info graphic.

Day 1

In 30 days I aspire to make some positive changes to my body. I have already altered my diet but this project is intended to push me towards incorporating fitness into my life. This blog will serve as a daily journal to keep me accountable. I will keep track of activities and changes in weight, measurements, mile time, push-ups and total run distance. I will complete this project by creating an info graphic from the data tracked.



Today I did an overall body workout. The activities I did include; running a mile (Time 16.49), squats 40, 20 push-ups, 20 leg extensions, 50 sit-ups. plank, and side plank. Today was very difficult and I had to take many water breaks.

In other news: I got a personal trainer to help accelerate change and Angel gave me a treadmill!
